Abductees’ Mothers Association held, today morning, a protesting rally in Ibb where mothers demanded to uncover the fate of their sons who had been forcibly disappeared for five years.
In the rally statement, mothers said that there were 198 whose fate and health conditions were unknown, calling upon government officials and human rights organizations to pay the necessary attention to their sons’ issue and affirming that mothers of abductees and forcibly disappeared persons would keep on demanding their sons’ rights until they are unconditionally free.
The statement held Houthi armed group responsible for the lives and safety of their abducted and forcibly disappeared sons as abduction, forced disappearance, and torture are not time barred crimes.
