The Abductees’ Mothers Association congratulated journalist Naziha Naser Junaid on her release on Sunday, May 31, in Ma’rib Governorate, following intensive efforts and continuous follow-up carried out under the initiative to secure the release of female prisoners from detention facilities.
The Association welcomed journalist Naziha at its office in Ma’rib Governorate to celebrate her regained freedom. It explained that her release came as part of the initiative to free female detainees and prisoners. The Association had closely followed her case with the judiciary and the Public Prosecution Office and worked to provide her with support and assistance throughout her detention.
In addition, the Association monitored her psychological well-being through repeated prison visits and provided psychological and moral support to help alleviate the suffering and hardships she experienced during her period of detention.
The Abductees’ Mothers Association reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its efforts to follow up on the cases of detained and imprisoned women and to defend their legal and human rights until they regain their freedom and return safely to their families and communities.
