Abductees Mothers Association Demands Minister of Interior to Uncover the Fate of Forcibly Hidden Abductees

This morning, Abductees’ Mothers Association held a rally by the house of Minister of Interior, Ahmed Al-Maisari, in Aden.

Mothers stated that this rally will not be the last one, and will not stop their demands of their sons’ freedom, despite all the disappointments through all those years.

Mothers demanded Minister of Interior, Minister of Justice, Attorney General, and Minister of Human Rights to grant their sons their basic human rights which were violated by security and military organizations. Those organizations have prevented families from visiting their abducted relatives for years, and mothers from seeing their arbitrarily arrested and detained sons.

Mothers appealed to uncover the fate of dozens of forcibly hidden abductees and to prosecute those involved in the crimes of abductions, torture, and enforced disappearance.

Mothers, furthermore, condemns the groundless conviction of 30 abductees who were sentenced to death in Sana’a.
