Abductees Mothers Association meets up with ICRC representative in Marib.

In Marib and in conjunction with International Women’s Day, Abductees’ Mothers Association had a meeting with the representative of Protection Department at the International Committee of the Red Cross, Jennifer Namg.

During the meeting, the association representatives spoke of the medical and psychological conditions of female detainees, and the mechanic of ICRC’s visits to prison, as well as the conditions of detainees at Marib’s prisons.

They, also, discussed the reports received by the association and filed by families.  The association highlighted their visits to prisons in Marib, and demanded the ICRC to help providing the logistic needs for detainees held at Central Security Prison in the city. 

The ICRC showed its preparedness to support the cause of Abductees’ Mothers Association regarding the case of female abductees and detainees held in Marib.
