Abductees Mothers Association rally statement by Aden administration building, demanding uncovering fate of forcibly disappeared

We, at Abductees’ Mothers Association, rally today by Aden’s administration to demand the governor, Ahmed Hamed, to urge the competent authorities to take the necessary actions immediately to uncover the fate and conditions of the forcibly disappeared persons.

We, once again, demand going forward with the legal processes, which has been stopped by the prosecution and the court, of the arbitrarily arrested individuals held at Be’er Ahmed Prison.

They ought to be done right and their rights must be protected.
For four years, 37 sons of ours have been forcibly disappeared. Their families live in constant pain and grief, having no clue of their conditions and whereabouts. Moreover, 40 detainees are imprisoned while their cases and hearings have been unlawfully prolonged and postponed for more than two years.

Therefore, we, at Abductees’ Mothers Association, emphasize on continuing our rallies until the fate of all our forcibly disappeared sons is uncovered, and all arbitrarily arrested detainees are released. We hold the authorities responsible for their lives and safety.
