Aden; mothers of abductees demand uncovering the fate of forcibly disappeared persons

In its rally by Aden’s security management administration headquarters, Abductees’ Mothers Association demanded, this morning, to uncover the whereabouts of their forcibly disappeared sons, and permit the lawful right of contacting their families in order to check on their conditions.

In the rally statement, mothers demanded to seriously take the necessary legal actions to bring the perpetrators of abductions and other crimes to justice. The statement expressed mothers’ and children’s five-year-long sorrows which had been multiplying as they kept searching for 38 forcibly disappeared individuals, whose fate and medical conditions are unknown. It emphasized on continuing their protesting rallies until all their abducted and forcibly disappeared sons are granted all their humanitarian and legal rights.

Mothers had a meeting with Judge Nabil Jwaih, head of prisons committee, which is responsible for the case of forcibly disappeared and arbitrarily arrested persons. He stated that families would receive reports of the investigation outcomes within 10 days.
