Abductees Mothers Association statement of its rally by Coalition headquarters in Aden

At Abductees’ Mothers Association, we demand the competent authorities, in this rally, to uncover the fate of our sons, who have been forcibly disappeared since 2016, and release all abductees and forcibly disappeared persons.

40 abductees are facing unknown fate as diseases, including COVID-19, continue to spread in Aden. Mothers suffer mentally and psychologically during their sons’ forced disappearance.

Helmi Al-Zenji’s mother passed away in Ramadan while waiting hear from her two forcibly disappeared sons.

We demand Arab Coalition and the committee formed by it to reveal the results of its investigation for the forcibly disappeared persons.

We emphasize the importance of taking immediate actions to save our 42 abducted sons held at Be’er Ahmed Prison in Aden as the prison administration has taken arbitrary actions instead of improving medical care and detention conditions during COVID-19 outbreak.

We demand the attorney general to immediately take the necessary legal procedures in order to save and release them. We call upon all human rights organizations, locally and internationally, to intensify efforts to save the abductees and forcibly disappeared persons, and support their mothers’ rightfully fair demands.
