Strategic Planning Workshop for the Abductees’ Mothers Association (2025–2030)

As part of the Capacity Building of Women Peace Mediators 3, under the Resourcing Change Program, which isunded by Saferworld, the Abductees’ Mothers Association successfully concluded a four-day strategic planning workshop in Taiz from February 23 to 26. This initiative is part of the association’s ongoing efforts to enhance its institutional capacity and refine its future vision.

The workshop focused on updating the association’s strategic plan to address current challenges and align with future objectives.

Participants from all provinces where the association operates took part in discussions on its vision, mission, and strategic goals.
The event saw active engagement, with participants contributing valuable insights and aspirations for the association’s future. Their input helped shape a unified vision that strengthens the association’s humanitarian and advocacy mission while enhancing its role in supporting abductees’ mothers and their families.

The Abductees’ Mothers Association expressed its gratitude to all participants for their dedication and meaningful contributions. The association reaffirmed that such capacity-building programs are vital to its ongoing pursuit of institutional excellence and its commitment to providing better services to its target communities.
