The children of abductees, detainees, and forcibly disappeared persons kept holding on to the hope of spending their next Eid in their fathers’ arms after participating at a rally where they covered their faces with anime crying masks while maintaining social distancing.
They sent their messages to the whole world declaring that their lives have fallen apart after their fathers were abducted, and they were separated by horrifying prison gates. Yet, they believed that the world can still help much with the release of their fathers and all abductees, detainees, and forcibly disappeared persons.
The children’s congratulations statement for their fathers:
To my beloved father,
Happy Eid. I still hold on to the hope of spending next Eid in your arms.
To the whole world,
I wish you a blessed Eid. However, my life has stopped since the abduction of my beloved father and now we are separated by horrifying prison gates and fully armed officers.
Yet, I still believe that that you can still help much with the release of my father and all abductees, detainees, and forcibly disappeared persons if you continue your efforts and pressure.
