Abductees’ Mothers Association (AMA) Provides Technical Support to the National Committee for Women in Taiz

As part of the “Protecting Civil and Women’s Spaces and Promoting Women’s Role in Peace Processe” project, the Abductees’ Mothers Association (AMA) has donated crucial technical support and equipment to the National Committee for Women in Taiz.

This initiative aims to strengthen the monitoring system of the National Committee for Women, improving their ability to track, document, and address the threats and challenges faced by women involved in peacebuilding.

Ms. Sabah Al-Sharabi, Chairwoman of the Committee in Taiz, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Abductees’ Mothers Association (AMA) for their generous support. She emphasized that this contribution will play a key role in the committee’s growth and development, and welcomed future collaboration with the Association.

The Abductees’ Mothers Association reaffirmed the importance of offering technical and legal assistance to organizations working in the areas of peace and human rights.

This project is part of initiatives funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the United Nations Peace Support Facility (PSF).
