Abductees Mothers Association demanding to save abductees at Be’er Ahmed Prison

During these hard times, high temperature, and blackouts Aden is going through, Be’er Ahmed Prison administration deliberately mistreat abductees.

Abductees’ Mothers Association has received several reports from abductees’ families held at Be’er Ahmed Prison stating that abductees are facing slow death inside their cells as prison administration continues to cut power to prison and cut down detainees’ meals in addition to the widespread of diseases among abductees.

The reports, also, stated that abductees are planning to go on hunger strike to protest against the mistreatment they are subjected to by the prison administration.

We, at Abductees’ Mothers Association, hold all competent authorities in Aden responsible for the lives and safety of our abducted sons held at Be’er Ahmed Prison, and demand their immediate release, especially as different diseases are spreading in Aden. Continuing their detention and imprisonment could lead to their death.

We call upon all local and international human rights organizations, mainly the IRC, to support us to save and release our abducted sons.
