Abductees’ Mothers Association Holds Workshop to Review Human Rights Training Manuals

In the city of Taiz, the Abductees’ Mothers Association conducted a workshop to review training manuals prepared for participants of the Training of Trainers (TOT) program, aimed at equipping new activists in the field of human rights.

The workshop focused on evaluating four training manuals covering protection mechanisms, human rights principles, transformative approaches, and conflict transformation skills. The assessment reviewed the scientific content, methodology, interactive activities, and the manuals’ relevance to the target audience, with detailed recommendations provided for further development and enhancement.

This review process represents a critical step to ensure the quality and effectiveness of training outputs under the project “Protecting Civil and Womrn’s Role in thePeace Process,” supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the United Nations Peace Support Facility (UN PSF).

It is noteworthy that in February, the Association organized a TOT course that trained 16 participants from various government bodies and civil society organizations, helping them acquire new skills in the protection and promotion of human rights.
