Abductees Mothers Association meets Human Rights Minister in Aden

 Continuing its efforts regarding the case of abductees and forcibly disappeared persons, Abductees’ Mothers Association had a meeting with Minister of Human Rights, Ahmed Arman, Deputy Minister, Nabil Abdulhafid, and Karama for Rights and Liberties in Aden. 

During the meeting, mothers spoke of their suffering and agonies they had been struggling with since their sons’ abduction forced disappearance in 2016. Yet, they were never awarded with fair resolution. 

Minister Arman stated that the ministry keeps contacting the head of Security Belt, and promised that he would do his utmost best to reach a fair resolution for abductees and forcibly disappeared persons and their families. 

 

The association handed the minister a list of abductees’ and arbitrary detainees’ names held by all parties in order to mount the necessary pressure to immediately release them all. 

The association, also, elaborated on the importance of the government’s involvement in the case of abductees’ and detainees’ case, and urged it to fulfill its duty regarding the case.
