Abductees Mothers Association rally statement in Al-Hudaydah demanding to uncover the fate of 85 abductees at Houthi-controlled prisons

We, at Abductees’ Mothers Association, held this protesting rally to demand the uncover the fate of 85 abductees and forcibly disappeared persons who have been detained at Hunaish Prison, Central Security Prison, Al-Hudaydah. We have been living in great worry and fear as we have no clue how our sons are surviving in prison since visits are prohibited.

As circumstances are worsening in our city, we hold Houthi armed group responsible for the lives and safety of the 85 abductees at Hunaish Prison, and demand their immediate and unconditional release.

In our rally, we call upon the United Nation, International Red Cross, and all human rights organizations to support our abducted sons’ cause. It is a purely humanitarian issue as our sons are civilians who have been unlawfully abducted from their houses and workplace.
