Furious condemnation of Abductees Mothers Association after 14 abductees go on hunger strike at Beer Ahmed Prison.

Abductees’ Mothers Association in Aden organized this morning a protesting rally by the former Specialized Criminal Court judge, Wahib Fadel Al-Radfani, as 14 arbitrarily arrested persons held at Be’er Ahmed Prison went on a hunger strike protesting against holding off their legal procedures which led to completely stopping the processes of their cases.

In the rally statement, read near the judge’s house, who did not meet mothers, they condemned holding off the legal and lawful procedures of the abductees’ case, which started on December 19th, 2020, and ended on December 24th, 2020. The hold off had resulted in prolonging the period of the detention and suffering.
Mothers demanded the government and international community to stand behind the case of abductees, and do them justice by pressuring to resume the procedures and ending their arbitrary detention to save their lives.
The statement declared that abductees had been subjected to mistreatment and prevention of any rights, leading to vulnerability to diseases, health deterioration, and slow death.
