Abductees Mothers in Taiz Demand Saving 30 Abductees Who were Sentenced to Death

Abductees’ Mothers Association in Taiz demanded saving the 30 civilian abductees, who were sentenced to death by Houthi armed group, and their immediate and unconditional release as they are innocent civilians who were abducted from homes and workplaces with no legal justification, were forcibly hidden for months, and were systematically tortured physically and psychologically.

Abductees’ mothers condemned, in their rally today morning in front of district administration building, the death sentence of 30 abductees which was issued by Supreme Criminal Court, which lacks jurisdiction, headed by Houthi-appointed judge, Abdu Rajeh, after a groundless two-year trial.

In its statement, the association held the international community, headed by the UN, responsible for prolonging abductees’ suffering for years and Houthi armed group responsible for the lives and safety of all abductees and forcibly hidden detainees.
