The Association of Abductees’ Mothers (AMA) holds a human rights course for a number of observers in Ma’rib Governorate

Within the framework of the project “Building the Capacity of Women Peace Mediators 2” and funded by the “Saferworld ” organization ( AMA) established In Ma’rib Governorate, a human rights course entitled “In-depth monitoring and analysis of data” was held for 15 monitors in the governorates of (Ma’rib – Al-Jawf – Al-Bayda – Al-Mahwit – Saada – Raymah – Sana’a) through the period from October 30 to November 2, 2023 AD.

The training course aimed to raise the level of observers’ skills and knowledge through a number of topics they received during the training, which included “concepts and basics of human rights, basic international treaties, international humanitarian law, and international human rights law.”

The training also focused on how to collect information, monitor and document, the most important characteristics of the observer, how to conduct interviews, security and safety methods, and how to write reports.

The human rights training course included many activities and exercises aimed at consolidating important and basic information in the monitoring process.

By holding these activities, (AMA )seeks to build and develop the capabilities of its employees to carry out human rights work on a knowledgeable basis and reach results with high credibility and objectivity.
