Abductees Mothers Association in Al-Hudaydah Condemns Sentencing 30 Abductees to Death by Houthi Armed Group

Abductees’ Mothers Association held, today in Al-Hudaydah, a rally to condemn and protest against the judgments of executing 30 abductees, in Sana’a. The judgments had been issued by Supreme Criminal Court which lacks jurisdiction and was headed by Houthi loyalists.

According to Abductees’ Mothers Association, the whole world witnessed as the court revoked all international human rights laws and agreements to issue the void and null judgment after a groundless two-year trial. Abductees’ mothers were greatly shocked by the judgment which defied all human rights laws.

In their rally, abductees’ mothers called upon human rights organizations and competent authorities, including the legitimate government, to rescue the 30 civilian abductees and all the other abductees, to pressure for their release, and to hold those involved in abductions and torture accountable for their crimes. The rally statement held Houthi armed group and international community responsible for the lives, safety, and freedom of all abductees.
