Abductees Mothers Association Participates in UN Human Rights Training in Marib Governorate.

Abductees’ Mothers Association participated in a training course organized by the United Nations Human Rights Office, “Monitoring Skills for Civil Society Organizations,” which was held from September 30th to October 3rd in Marib Governorate.

The association, also, participated in a discussion session on the report of civil society organizations in the fourth Universal Periodic Review cycle.

Abductees’ Mothers Association appreciated the role and efforts of the United Nations Human Rights Office by awarding it a commendation plaque for its ongoing cooperation with the case of the abductees, training and qualifying the association’s team, and giving the file of detained civilians great care and attention, which contributes to making more efforts to achieve the release of abductees unconditionally.

The association calls on all local and international human rights organizations to work hard to pressure the parties to the conflict to stop human rights violations against civilians and release all abductees from all prisons.
