Family of Radfan Al-Wajeeh urgently calls to save his life from Security and Intelligence Prison in Sanaa.

Abductees’ Mothers Association has received an urgent report from the family of the abductee Radfan Abdu Al-Wajeeh, a 26-year-old student at Faculty of Sharia’a and Law, stating that he had been suffering a mental disorder, yet his condition has worsened lately. Houthi armed group abducted Radfan on November 13th, 2015, and held him at Security and Intelligence Prison in Sana’a. Recently, he has been detained in solitary confinement, away from his acquaintances who used to look after him.

At Abductees’ Mothers Association, we hold Houthi armed group accountable for the life and safety of Radfan Al-Wajeeh.

We call upon the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights to mount the necessary pressure to release the abductee Radfan Al-Wajeeh, especially after the deterioration of his mental health.
